Thanks to all my friends and family for stopping by the Honolulu Museum of Art School (Linekona) Gallery to see the “In, Of, or About Fiber” art show put on by the Hawai’i Craftsmen and juried by artist Susan Taber Avila. My multi-media piece Kū‘ai Mai, Kū‘ai Aku, made of 100+ receipts sewn together and decorated with the Hawaiian words for “buy” and “sell”, received an Honorable Mention award from the Hawai’i Craftsmen.
The show will be open till Nov 17, 2012, from 10am – 4pm Tuesday – Saturday. Check it out!
