Head over to Ektopia in Kaimuki to see some amazing prints in the Salon des Refuses exhibition.
Inspired by the 1863 Exbhibition in Paris in which rejected artworks by famous artists (Edouard Manet and Camille Pissario to name a few) were displayed. At Ektopia, the Salon des Refusés has on display pieces rejected from the Honolulu Printmakers 85th Annual Exhibition. I’ve got to say I’ve never been happier to be among rejects as awesome as these.
The show will be up until March 15 with Ektopia open Thursday – Saturday from 11am – 4pm.
